What To Do When Your Wordpress Site Gets Hacked Part 1

I don't know about you, but when I secured my WordPress site, and I researched to find out what others do to maintain their blog safe, I found information I was confused. And some of the information was in fact on superstitious or the top. People told me to rename this file, rename this folder and install these ten plugins. It appeared to be a lot of work and effort.

I back up my blogs regularly using a plugin WP DB Backup. I will always restore my website if anything happens. I use my blog to be scanned by WP Security Scan plugin and suspicious-looking requests to be blocked by WordPress Firewall to fix malware problems free.

Don't depend on your Web host - Many men and women rely on their web host to"do all that technical stuff for me", not realizing that sometimesthey do not! Far better to have the responsibility lie with you, instead of from your control.

Keep control of your online assets - Nothing is worse than having your livelihood in the hands of somebody else. Why take chances with something as important as your website?

Now we are getting into web link matters. Whenever you install WordPress, you need to edit the file config-sample.php and rename it to config.php. You need to set up the database information there.

You do think about needing security Whenever your website is new but you do have to protect your investment and yourself. Having a site go down and not being able to restore it can mean a loss of consumers who won't remember to search for your site later and can not find you. Don't let that happen to you. Back up your site as soon as you get it started, as the website is operational, and schedule frequent backups for as long. This way, you will have WordPress security and peace of mind.
